About a year ago though, my body was in the worst shape of my life after I stopped playing basketbal after my freshman year of college. I went from a muscular 270 to 320 pounds after eating junk food and drinking TONS of beer and looked like absolute h-e-double hockey sticks. Now after getting a positive outlook on life and following most of Klaus's routines, I am now down to 260 pounds. My body fat went from 24% to about 14% as of this time. Even though I am still a ways to go to being ripped how I want to be, I am comfortable now with my weight on a 6 foot 7 frame. Just want to thank this website on everything it has gave to me.

comments: I have really enjoyed this site. I started getting back in shape about 6 months ago. I was to embarased to go to a gym so I started at home with no equipment. I started doing what I call wall push ups. You know just leaning against the wall and gradually moving my feet out farther and farther. Finally going to one arm wall push ups. I did a variety of wall push ups hands close together in a triangle shaps and as far apart as I could. I also did the same thing using the kitchen counter. Facing forward and backwards(like dips). I also did toe raises and squats w/o any weights. Then gradually worked up to small hand weights and then larger weights actually gallon milk containers filled with water. I hope to get out of the house and into a club soon. Thanks for the ideas and if someone else wants any ideas about a poor mans gym have them email me. Again THANKS. Mike

comments: Gday, from Brisbane Australia, I have visited this site several times and have found it interesting to say the least. I have found myself revisiting this site as I slowly make gains with bodybuilding, so as to re-enforce the ideas in your articles. Over the years I have attempted body building but was doomed to failler due to my attitude of wanting it all NOW! So now with maturity by my side and accepting small gains I am well on my way to creating a foundation that I can be be happy with and will be able to turn into some thing fantastic. I train 3 times a week Mon, Wed, Fri for a 2 week cycle trainig each body part 3 times over 2 weeks, I only spend 1 hr at the gym per session, watch my diet take a protein suppliment along with HMB and creatine, and of course get plenty of rest. My exercises are Routine "A" Squat, Bench Press,Lat Pull Downs, Barbell Curls, Calf Raises, Crunch. Routine "B' Deadlift, Press Behind Neck, Close Grip Bench Press, Barbell Curl, Calf Raises. I keep a diary with set goals be them only small but when I reach those I raise the bar "so to speak". this is the first time in my life that I have made some serios gains with body building, if only I had the maturity and knowledge years ago, but its never to late.
